Our New Website Design Announcement

So thrilled to be launching our new website: http://www.ahrfestival.org

 

“Our new website is absolutely beautiful, faster and easier to navigate and update, but it also gives our unique film festival the ability to give artists, fans and supporters, fresh news on all of our festival activities through a wonderful blog and news section,” said AHRFF Director Malik Shafi’i. “We are just thrilled with our new design and we are very excited to have finally launched it after months of development.”

 

The new site coincides with our 3rd anniversary year "Moving Towards Lasting Change" and as well as with the contribution of new sponsors, partners and the support of our new vibrant Board of Advisors. With many attendees and more than 200 film entries, our Human Rights Film Festival has grown into a major human rights hub in the region.

 

“With this new modern, fresh and simple design, we wanted to invite our audience to get to know us better and have a similar experience as if they were going to the festival, so if you take a look around the site, we think you’ll get a pretty good idea of what the festival is all about.”

 

AHRFF website press area: http://www.ahrfestival.org/#!press/qabv will serve as an interactive information news resource for interested filmmakers and attendees, empowering staff and volunteers to share news, photos and updates as they happens on the ground.

 

Despite the severe funding cut in the cultural sector, and the insecurity situation in Afghanistan, we believe that the launch of our new website is the latest in a string of accomplishments for AHRFF, including the support of the new Board of Advisors and Honorary Board.

 

Our site also provides an interactive experience and includes social media streams from Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, and Twitter to help AHRFF communicate with and listen to its growing and engaged audience in Afghanistan and throughout the world.
