Synopsis: This is the story of Marzia, an 8 years-old girl victim of human trafficking. Her parent sold her to a man leading a begging group in Kabul. Marzia and many other children work for him and he misuses them as hand sales, bigger and labor. Instead being in a family and getting education she spent the time in the street. One day she is trying to pick the empty can of Pepsi while the teacher calls on her…
Director’s biography: Sayed Jalal Rohani is born in 1989 in Kabul city. He graduated from Kabul University with a B.A in Fine Arts/Film Direction. He is an active member of cine-Club of French Cultural and Entertainment Institute in Afghanistan. Rohani has actively participated in film making workshops conducted by foreign film makers in Fine Arts department of Kabul University. He also participated in film making workshops sponsored by British Council and Geeti Institute. Besides film directions and the making of short films, Rohani has also worked as a production director in a French film called Kabuliwood, and as an actor in another film. Rohan has directed four films: short film (Successful Women of Afghanistan), documentary film (Voice Reed), short feature film (Life), and another film called (Water).
