Director’s Biography: Tarique Qayumi, born in Kabul, Afghanistan, grew up in Canada. Attended UCLA School of Film and TV earning a Master’s MFA. He has directed over sixty short films, commercials, music videos, television, and two feature films, including “Targeting”, which has just received worldwide distribution on Amazon and iTunes, this year in 2015. He has written 16 screenplays, many of which have received the prestigious “Telefilm Funding” from Canada, as well numerous other prizes such as the prestigious “Jack Nicholson Award”.

 ُSynopses: A female soldier returns from Afghanistan and begins running surveillance on an Afghan person-of-interest that she learns is living in her hometown. She begins to “Target” him and his Afghan wife, suspecting them of terror activities.
