Buddha Statues of Bamyan (Salsal) is the official icon of AHRFF as symbol of Afghanistan’s Art, History, Tolerance and Stability.

 

• These are the Salsal Awards in the following categories:
   

          - Best National Fiction

  • - Best National Documentary

  • - Best International Fiction

  • - Best International Documentary

  • - Human Rights Activists Award for two Human Right activist 

  • - Lifetime Achievement Award for an Afghan Filmmaker

  • - Audience Award - sponsored by the USA Embassy in Kabul.
     

• Ballots will be available after each screening and all award winners will be announced on Closing Night.
